Emmy award winning Mark Thompson spent most of his life in a fifty-year radio and television career. Twice named “Air Personality of the Year” by Billboard magazine, Mark attracted twelve million listeners daily during his twenty-seven years with the Mark and Brian radio program. Mark says, “With technology being what it is, the way we receive our audio entertainment has changed. The choices for the consumer are endless. While I have always loved terrestrial radio and always will, I do believe that the future for audio entertainment is on the internet. In 1991, Mark received the coveted Marconi Award, considered the Oscar within the radio industry that represents true excellence for on-air performance. His half century radio career landed Mark in the prestigious Radio Hall of Fame. Mark has also written and produced two feature films, but Mark’s first love was radio, and he plans to continue talking into a mic until his last!

Mark and Lynda have been married for a very long time. Lynda says, “I am the mother of three adult children. I have been married to Mark for thirty eight years, which explains my love for scotch.”
