Great show. Hiring Adam Nimoy talk about his dad was cool. I know how that is, My dad was a Terrible father and husband but the people he met that he was great. We became friends later. I’m glad you are back to a Weekly show. Love you all talk to you later💖💖
Just got done listening to today’s podcast. When a person makes an amends, it doesn’t mean to apologize it means to change. It is done to clean our side of the street. We are not to discuss their faults. A 12 step program is to change our thinking since we have made so many mistakes
Glad to hear that the new show is going to mostly weekly. Based on your instructions relayed via the state of the podcast, on how to find all your old shows; I went to the archives #s 1&2. Sadly the Way Back Machine Internet Archive only has shows released and saved up thru about June 2015. Nothing newer. Doing some searching on my own, I found the archive for some episodes of the Adventures of Mark and Brian , plus your show about Cool Stories in Music.
But have yet to find Daddy/ Daughters or more recent episodes of M&L podcast from 2016-2023.
Cheers Tom
I was walking and listening to the State of the Podcast and cheered that you are going back to weekly. I got some shocked and odd looks! I just said that I just received Great News! they all smiled…
It is so compelling when a person of interest speaks about the difficulties, challenges that they are facing or have faced. Almost always, the result for that person was a freeing, a weight lifted, a response from others that is or was beneficial. It strikes true in comedy as well. Those that bare their sole, are the most likely to be successful in capturing their audience.
With that said, I don’t have it within myself to expose that part of me. Just thinking about it makes me well up.
I would love to see you explore this human frailty with guests that are knowledgeable in this field. Your candor with your guests is triggering and I’m sure we would all benefit from the conversation.
All the best,
Devin
Oh my gosh I’m so glad to hear you are going to continue doing the podcast! I would probably listen to anything you put out there. Have been listening since the very beginning of you and Brian.
Maybe Lynda could be a special guest sometimes. I miss her 😁❤️
Hey Mark! Per your recommendation, I watched Presumed Innocent. What an excellent show! Binged seven episodes all in one day and watched the final episode the next morning. That twist in the eighth episode was unreal! I agree with you, come Emmy time, this will be a heavyweight contender.
What about your son being a interview regarding the current state of the presidential candidates and election he has always had such a great insight to this arena and I would love to hear what his current opinions are and what maybe he feels the state of our nation’s going to be going forward depend upon whoever gets into the White House
Hi Mark,
Thank you for doing more podcast shows for us!!! Always love hearing you ! Of course Miss Lynda but also understand her leaving too ..
