    Just listening to the Toy Matinee album. The old memories of them on the show several times are good ones. I thought because of that and all the others I should say Thank You. You and Brian were such a comfort and entertaining during all the highway miles. I attended some of the events back in the day but never spoke with you to say thanks. But it is definitely owed to you. I hope you and your family are well.

  4. I’m listening to this show because my husband is old, but not as old as you. He is 60, the age of Keanu Reeves, and I am 32. So, you see, my hubby still kicks ass, but you probably fart every time you bend over to tie your shoes. In any case, my hubby got me into listening to you since the Mark and Lynda show. I was devastated when it ended. Although I miss Lynda, I’m happy that you’re back! Laughter is a medicine, and you have cured many of us!

  6. Episode 11!!!
    The Joe Moore interview was great! I felt like at any moment he could disappear into the shadows!
    It reminded me of an interview you did years ago with Joaquin “Jack” Garcia, who similarly infiltrated the Gambino family. His book “Making Jack Falcone” was a great read. I remember that he was Mexican and passed himself off as Italian. What stuck with me too, is that some of the mafia members he had incarcerated still believed he wasn’t an FBI agent.

    I am looking forward to reading Joe’s book and have purchased it as soon as I finished the episode. It is scary to think that evil like that exists in today’s society. It even got me thinking of recent events and the attempts on Trump’s life. Not to get too political and I’m not a Trump supporter, but it makes me think that a political bullet can come from either side! Get rid of him, or martyr him. Either way, it’s a sad reflection on our country. I’m just glad there are people like Joe out there!

    Oh and side note… I read the comment from Episode 11 stating you played an ad for Harris and now should play one for Trump!
    Ummm, no offense, but if someone is listening to “What You Do” and bases their vote on one ad… I really have fear for our nation!

    People, please do your research! Whoever you vote for, learn as much as you can about a candidate and make your choice according to your values! Don’t rely on media, celebrities, and definitely not Mark’s podcast to make your decision! (No offense Mark!)
    We don’t need to Make America Great Again! We need to Make Ourselves Great Again.

  8. 1st let me say that I love your podcast. Been listening to you since day 1 on KLOS and followed you since. I Just listened to Ep12 and at the end you played a political endorsement from Bruce Springstreen. This was right before you said no matter which side you are on you should vote. To be fair, since you played an endorsement for Harris, you should then play an endorsement for Trump. Part of the reason we are so polarized in this country is because the media is so one sided (and the side depends on which outlet you listen to). Hopefully at the end of this weeks episode you play an endorsement for the other side. I don’t like either candidate and think no matter who wins, we are in trouble.

  10. Hi mark. First: I have been listening to you Brian and Lynda for longer than any of us wants to admit. Anyway, I am now in Texas and listen to a very good morning show who actually just won a broadcasting award for major market. I have become friends with these two and I was wondering if you would be willing to email me a message to these two. Maybe a congrats and a few words of “keep going” from the Radio God? Sorry couldn’t find a way to email a request like this.

  11. Sorry to hear you support Kamala Harris. You talked about exercising our right as a citizen to vote, but the last 4 years we’ve had that circumvented by the current administration letting in 30 million migrants and giving them the right to vote (steal the election in their favor). I also don’t understand anyone supporting this administration that has squandered all of our money to other countries instead of helping our own citizens. These people are traitors, and I can’t support anyone who sides with them and goes against my American beliefs and against my family.

    Thanks for the many years of entertainment, I’ve been a listener since 1994. I’ll check in from time to time to see if you’ve learned the truth. ✌️
