Hey there Mark,
Day 1 listener from M&B days, Mark and Lynda Podcast and now enjoying your What you do Podcast. Any chance you have old audio of when you and Brian put the can of SHAVING CREAM on a hotplate and it exploed in the studio? That was hysterical and would love to hear it again on What You Do!
Hey Mark, It’s Fuckin’ Craig. On the segment where you shared what states are having people leave. You mentioned Oregon and that Oregon is beautiful, which it is, and why would anyone ever leave. Well, I can tell you and this will not be popular, but it is true. It was Californians moving to Oregon, mainly the Willamette Valley. They all started voting the way that they did in California and ruined the state. In the ’70’s we had a Govenor named Tom McCall. You and Brian did your events here at Tom McCall Waterfront Park. He had a sign put up on the Oregon/California border which said, “Welcome to Oregon. Have a nice VISIT! Visit was underlined. This offended the new arrivals to my fine state. They demanded it be taken down. Housing prices are out of control, crime is rampant, homeless infects most of Portland.
I hope Lynda has recovered and back to being the joy that she is!
Keep Making My Fridays Great! I look forward to it every week!
Matthew and Eleni should name their baby boy something that starts with a W and then their initials would spell MEOW! Ok … I know I have too much time on my hands!
Happy New Year to you and the Thompson clan, as well as the WYD team! 🎉🎇🇺🇲 I was thinking about you and wondering how the fires were affecting your Southern Cal home, if at all. I just listened to your latest podcast and I’m relieved to hear that you’re a safe distance from them.
I really enjoyed the episode today—keep them coming and Stay Safe!!
Hey Mark, Regarding Gig Harbor Holly. Where you thought her first name was Gig.😁 Gig Harbor is a town in WA state. Just saying, her name is most likely Holly. Long time listener. Port Ludlow Chris 😀
Hey Mark. Just wanted to let you know that in the L.A. studio your sound effects are WAY LOUDER than your voice. In the NC studio it’s fine. Not sure if you can look into this. My ears are getting blown out when wearing headphones. LOVE YOU!!
Hey – first of all A Happy New Year to all of you
Was very happy that you discovered Matthew West – The Heart of Christmas one of my favorite Christmas songs and here is one for the next Christmas https://www.facebook.com/share/r/14eEaq76J6/
Hope you’ll enjoy it
Hey Mark, It’s Fucking Craig, as you referred to me the last time I wrote. My friends that was an accurate moniker. Two quickies. First, I could not remember who Gino was/is so I looked him up. Turns out he is teaching in a school less than 40 minutes from where I live. I will be checking out his spring choir concerts. Because, the “I think I Love You, was one of the most amazing things I have ever heard. It might just beat Benjamin Orr’s Drive, with the London Symphony.
